This great five-piece cover band plays the perfect mix of dance music for any crowd. While their roots mostly in classic rock and 80's music, they differ from many of the "classic rock” bands, in that they also stay current with today’s music, adding new material from today's top artists on a regular basis.
Everyone from the young 20-somethings to seasoned citizens will enjoy Raising Cain. They round out their song mix with bits of Motown, funk, modern country, and some oldies. With Raising Cain, there’s something for everybody to love – dance hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and the 00s!
What’s more, Raising Cain features extraordinary male AND female lead singers. All band members are superb vocalists. As well, they are great at covering all of the challenging, three and four part harmonies so that each song sounds like the original!
Maybe that’s one reason Raising Cain was selected to play the coveted downtown Boulder “Bands on the Bricks” 10-week series in 2011. We joined the top ten Colorado bands that included Hazel Miller, That Eighties Band, and Chris Daniels and the Kings.
Raising Cain also had the extreme honor of being chosen to play for President Obama and thousands of guests at the Fillmore Auditorium during a fundraising trip to Denver.
